Vaisala IceCast Wind Warning System

The Vaisala Wind Warning System is beneficial to bridge operators. High wind speed warnings enable operators to take appropriate action, e.g. implementation of reduced speed limits or bridge closures.

Stand alone and integrated systems can be provided to measure and display standard wind parameters.  Data can be displayed via the IceView and IceNet software modules. The system can be configured to raise visual and/or audible alarms and may be connected to variable message signs to provide advance information to drivers.
